National Park City
The Glasgow National Park initiative is run by a collection of people and organisations who want to see the city become only the second recognised National Park City. Their goal is for the city to become somewhere that allows nature to thrive, everyone learns and engages with nature and the outdoors, is a place which is healthy and clean, and a place where design delivers buildings and space that respond to the needs of people and nature together.
Within this article, Dominic Hall, writes about the initiative’s starting point, what it has delivered so far and what its hopes are for the future.
