After the Pandemic Symposium is a one day digital event exploring creative, design and community focused responses to the pandemic. The event is split into 2 sessions: a morning of talks and an afternoon workshop. We encourage participants to join us for the full event, but we welcome those who can only make one session.

Stay tuned for our line-up of industry experts and thought-leaders!

After the Pandemic – Inter(national) | 10:00 – 12:00

After the Pandemic began in Glasgow. An initiative to get our city’s creative community collaborating through the Pandemic to address challenges brought on by COVID-19 and the climate emergency. In this session, we’ll explore what’s happening in Scotland and further afield from practitioners that are addressing crucial challenges in architecture, urban design, biodiversity, racial inequality and so on…

After the Pandemic – Clyde | 13:00 – 15:00

In partnership with Clyde Rebuilt, this workshop will focus on creativity and collaboration to explore how we can collectively build a more climate resilient city. We’ll hear from experts working in the fields of community empowerment, vacant and derelict land, and greenspace development. Discussion groups will explore these themes and the opportunities for transformational change to help our city flourish in the future.

More information on the event and speakers will follow in the following days. Register now!

The After the Pandemic Symposium is supported by Glasgow City Council, the Centre for Civic Innovation, Glasgow Urban Lab, City Urbanist and the Clyde Rebuilt project partners.
